The Balmar system is screwed up and we are at wits end. Marine Electrician Al came by this morning and used basic common sense to rule out one problem after another until he figured out what he felt the problem was and then he told Brad how to fix it. He then believe it or not said he was not going to charge us for the visit. Well, he did flake out on us yesterday but still, these guys are super busy with the Boat Show its. Ft Lauderdale is a mega yacht area, boats are coming and going. Anyway, Brad went to West Marine and changed out the electrical part and vola' we are now fixed!! Thank God, it is about time something good happened around here. Captain Brad is now officially an Electrical Engineer. While all of this has been happening, Howard from SeaCraft Classics (Brad's biggest competitor called him to see if Brad wants to buy out his company and take over his business). Which by the way is consistent of most of the high end Yacht companies, that Brad has not been able to there business due to the quality of the models. So when it rains, it pours as we say. So much happening at once has made me a nervous wreck, hopefully now that things are beginning to turn around maybe we can relax a little and have some fun. The weather is stormy again, so we are waiting out a weather window. We'll see how it goes but I sure wish this winter stuff would stop soon. Yesterday was fabulous, sun shinning and everything. I drove to DelRey to see Kristle and have lunch. We went to a great sushi place and I had a delicious curry meal. Today we did the laundry, errands and boat repairs. I'm going to a nap now and then maybe a meeting later. I see the light at the end of the tunnel, finally!
