More of HopeTown

Yesterday we rode our bikes to the Abaco Inn, had lunch and took a million photos of the coast.  The windy coast was absolutely gorgeous.  We also stopped at Harry's house to visit with him and talk to him about his Abaco Dinghy models. Today we rode our bikes to the other end of Hopetown to explore every inch of the island.  The rodes today were a bit on the rough side, it was more like mountain biking.  Paradise point was fabulous, a reef with breaking waves.  We stopped at a cove at low tide and did some shelling and then came back to town.  After our bike ride we went to the beach so that Brad could kite and I video tapped him and helped him launch and land the kite.  He did some great tricks today, a couple 360's and jumps. Our friends Gigi and Joal came by the boat to visit a bit, they had their relatives with them, mother and sister.

Hopetown is my favorite town so far, it is just so cute with all the Bahamian homes so nicely decorated.  It is definately a step up from Marsh Harbour, which is more industrial.  Both have their place, Marsh Harbour has all the big grocery stores and Hardware stores etc. And HopeTown has all the tourist attractions, like the Lighthouse and Museum and Art Studio's.
We also got one of Vernon's famous Key Lime Pies, delicious!
