Tales of Hannah in George Town

During Hannah's visit to George Town we enjoyed swimming in secluded beaches, exploring in the dinghy, shopping and painting, playing poker:

Her first day we went to Chat & Chill for drinks and to check out the volleyball game.  Chat & Chills is the center of all action in Stocking Island.  Activity central had not only the volleyball games but also feeding and petting the manta rays and painting coconuts on the beach.  Then we went on a hike to the Atlantic Ocean, which is beautiful but a bit rough because of the recent storm.  We did some sunning and walking along the shore.  Not a lot of shells available for the taking but the sand is so soft and comfy to walk on so who

Yesterday we woke up at Monument beach better known as Hamburger Beach.  We took the dinghy
Into town to drop Brad off for a dive he had scheduled.  We then drove to the dinghy dock in Lake Victoria.  The girls went shopping at every store in town and the Straw Market.  Hannah got a few souvenirs. After shopping we went to Chat & Chill to paint a sunset scene on the beach with Steve from Magic Dolphin.  Then we stopped for drinks at the bar and back to the boat for lunch and a swim.  For the evening we moved the boat over to Kidd’s Cove to be closer to town so that we could go to Peace and Plenty for the dinner and Rake & Scrape music. We met some of our friends at dinner, Cheryl & Jim from Amazing Grace and Gwen our other neighbor.  Had fun but the ride back was rough and wet, Hannah and I were soaked when we got back to the boat. Time for a good night sleep so we can adventure again in the morning.
