Hawksbill Cay

One of the most beautiful cays in the Exuma park. Exuma sound side beaches are fabulous.  Although lots of flotsam and jetsam on shore.  We hiked over to the beach enjoying lovely views of the anchorage and island. On-shore you may also find the ruins from the Loyalist period. The Crown gave a grant to the Russell family to settle on Hawksbill.  The island remained occupied by various families until about 1900.
The anchorage is filled with Mega Yacht which send their people over to the beach to set up their chairs and beach toys. Interesting…  Here are some photos
