Shroud Cay

Shroud Cay is actually a group of cays and rocks which lies in the surrounding mangroves.  Little creeks all over the center of the Cay.  We took our dinghy and went exploring, it was kind of like a Disneyland ride but you have to watch out for the shallow water areas so you did not get stuck.  Camp Driftwood is a special place on the Cay. In the 1960s there was a hermit living on his sailboat just inside the creek on the Exuma Sounds.  He created a trail with steps and a picnic table out of driftwood.  It was kind of like a Robinson Cruseo’s island.
