We cruised back over to Marsh Harbour this morning to prepare for the next storm, due in a few days. We are being safe, tied to the docks in Marsh Harbour is about as good as it gets around here. When we pulled up to the docks, Ray met us and guided us in. It is great having him help us dock and then he helped tie us down for the storm, we have the dock on one side, then piling on the other. Brad is now double checking our set up. We also had a nice surprise as we pulled into the docks, Joel met us at our boat. Joel is the retired airplane pilot that is married to Gigi. She flying in tomorrow so it will be nice to she her as well. Gigi is bring a bunch of stuff here to help one of the ladies in a shop on Green Turtle, she is bringing products to make purses, should be interesting. Maybe I will make one too, Gigi can show me how it works. I have also got some sea glass that I plan to make jewelry with this season and of course the conch shells. Having the drumel tool with make easy work of the clean process.
And guess what, we had tea in my new teapot, Joel was very surprised and happy to be greated with a cup of tea. I have been drinking tea everyday at least 1-2 x, I love it. I am also starting to read the bible again, in the mornings while Brad is checking his emails and working. Whenever he gets good wifi he needs to work, so that limits my ability to browse and write in the blog but that is the price we pay for his job, we need the money to keep living the dream as they say.
In a few minutes we are planning to walk over to the car rental place and arrange for a car for tomorrow. It should be windy enough for Brad to try to kite at Treasure Cay and maybe take a ride to Sandy Point. So that is the plan for now, weather dependent of course. As we like to say, our plans are written in the sand at low tide...
