Morning After

Morning after the storm in Marsh Harbour. 40+ knot winds during the night makes for a bumpy and noisy night. But we survived and the sun is shining here in the Abacos. Today the winds are still up so we will be staying put.  There is a Farmer's Market that we will probably go to in a little while. We will also probably visit our new and old boat friends, Joel is here and we are waiting for Gigi to fly over. We also have new friends on Kraaken a Cat behind us with Cheryl, Erin and the Captain Kevin. This boat was Rafiki last year, which was funny since we knew the people on this boat that cruised the Abacos last year, then sold it. We have also renewed our friendship with Mel and Mars on Lars, they are a couple we briefly met last season that live on their boat full time in Marsh Harbour. They were teacher at one of the schools here but now are retired. And of course there is Ray our favorite dock master.

Today's schedule is to go to breakfast then walk over to the Abacos Resort, then probably the Farmers market, the auto store, errand day basically. Marsh Harbour is great for doing errands. We might also go down to a small beach area that Brad may be able to kite at. Just another day in semi paradise.
